The Taliban issued new uniforms for Afghanistan’s police force on July 3, 2022, after months without an official attire. The biggest changes to the gear include shifting the colour to dark blue and replacing the Afghanistan tricoloured republican flag with the Taliban’s white one. Its roll-out started with 20,000 uniforms mainly in the capital Kabul and Kandahar province.
