In this episode i leave the Golestan National park heading towards the Rohab Guesthouse in the middle of the Dasht-e Kavir desert, in Iran.
It's my first desert, and I'll also see my first herd of camels free in the wild.
650km at temperature well beyond 40 degrees, lots of swirls of sand and very few gas stations.
But the landscape, despite the boring endless stretches of straight road, is quite impressive, also because it's not the kind of desert we all imagine when we pronounce that word.
