✅ Qeshm Island is one of the islands of the Persian Gulf, which is located in Hormozgan province as the largest island of Iran and the Persian Gulf. Among the attractions of this island are: mangrove forests, Kharbas caves, Chahkouh Strait, blue dolphins, Persian Gulf, Star Valley, Naz Islands, and Namakdan Cave.

✅ Qeshm Island was called Abarkāvān during the Sassanid era. In fact, the word "Kavan", which means "descendant of Kaveh" in Middle Persian language, is found in the sources as a personal name. Traces of this old name can still be found on Qeshm Island. which can be mentioned Darghan (Dargahan/Dargwan), Kuvei, Goran, Karvan (Qeshm).
✅ جزیره قشم در دوران ساسانیان ابرکاوان (Abarkāvān) خوانده می‌شده‌است. در واقع واژهٔ «کاوان»، که در زبان پارسی میانه به معنای «از تبار کاوه» است، به صورت یک اسم شخص در منابع یافته می‌شود. از این نام کهن هنوز می‌توان رد پاهایی در جزیره قشم یافت. که می‌توان از درگهان (درگاهان / درگوان)، کووه‌ای، گوران، کاروان (قشم) نام برد.

✅ The closest port on the main coast of the country to Qeshm Island is Bandar Abbas, which is 8.10 nautical miles (20 kilometers) from Qeshm Port. The closest distance of this island to the main coast of the country is on the northern tip of the island, at the place of Bandar Laft (on Qeshm Island) to Bandar Pol, in Khamir city (on the main coast of the country), which is about one nautical mile (1800 meters) and will be the construction site of the Persian Gulf bridge.
✅ نزدیک‌ترین بندر در ساحل اصلی کشور به جزیرهٔ قشم، بندرعباس است که فاصله آن تا محل سربندر قشم ۸/۱۰ مایل دریایی (۲۰کیلومتر) است. نزدیک‌ترین فاصله این جزیره به ساحل اصلی کشور، در دماغهٔ شمالی جزیره، در محل بندر لافت (در جزیرهٔ قشم) تا بندر پل، در شهرستان خمیر (در ساحل اصلی کشور) که فاصله آن در حدود یک مایل دریایی (۱۸۰۰ متر) بوده و محل احداث پل خلیج‌فارس ) خواهد بود.
✅ Qeshm salt cave has a very good geographical location, and the location of this salt cave in a low rainfall area has made this cave even bigger. Although the salt cave of Namakdan was initially one layer, the passage of time has caused the movement of salt and its displacement with heavy stones above and around it, and has brought the dome and salt cave of Qeshm to the greatness of this period. The salt dome, which is made through the upward movement of salt, is an almost circular dome with a groove. The salt dome of the Nemakdan cave is located between the south cape to the northwest cape and Qadis Salakh to Qadis Basaeido.
✅ غار نمکدان قشم موقعیت جغرافیایی بسیار خوبی دارد و قرار گرفتن این غار نمکی در منطقه ای کم بارش باعث هر چه بزرگتر شدن این غار نیز شده است؛ و با اینکه غار نمکی نمکدان در ابتدا یک لایه بوده است گذشت زمان ، باعث حرکت نمک و جابجایی آن با سنگ های سنگین بالا و اطراف خود شده و گنبد و غار نمکی قشم را به عظمت این دوره رسانده است. گنبد نمکی که از طریق حرکت و جابجایی نمک به سمت بالا درست شده است گنبدی تقریبا دایره ای شکل و شیار شیار است؛ گنبد نمکی غار نمکدان در میان دماغه جنوب تا دماغه شمال غربی و قدیس سلخ تا قدیس باسعیدو واقع شده است.
