Persian Shadow Puppets 𝐇𝐀𝐌𝐈𝐃 𝐑𝐀𝐇𝐌𝐀𝐍𝐈𝐀𝐍 LIVE
Online event presented by Sisa Salgado and The Dance Road Project with special guest Hamid Rahamian and his Shadow Puppets from Iran.
Hamid is a multidisciplinary artist who combines his love of traditional Persian art forms with modern technology to create new works of art that visually bridge the gaps of East and West.
His 2016 multimedia stage production of Feathers of Fire, an adaption of the love story of Zaul and Rudaben from the Shahnameh, toured internationally and received critical acclaim.

Sisa Salgado, artista escénica, comunicadora social y antropóloga residente en la India y Nueva York, viene realizando un trabajo artístico-investigativo desde hace 12 años para conectar culturas y reflexionar sobre la historia humana a través de la danza.
Con su proyecto La Ruta de la Danza ha recorrido Asia y América para conocer las danzas tradicionales de distintas culturas de estos dos continentes. Actualmente se encuentra en una nueva fase de su proyecto en África.
