NUREMBERG Castle and Old Town Walk 2021 Germany • 4K ASMR Real Time Virtual Walking Tour

Your walk starts in the Imperial Castle of Nuremberg (aka Kaiserburg Nürnberg). The walk explores parts of the castle keep and entry point to the Burggarten, the pretty castle gardens. Some workers are maintaining the steep castle walls. You walk on to the 13th-century city gate, which is known as the Tiergärtnertor. A little square appears with cute-looking houses. You take a few steps turn around and you discover the unusual rabbit statue, a little homage to Albrecht Dürrer. The famous painter's home is located nearby and that's a museum now. The walk continues along the medieval castle walls and you will notice how the architecture seems to be switching between new and old. This is because Nuremberg was heavily bombed in the second world war. You then get to the Karlsbrücke bridge and the Fleischbrücke bridge later on.
