Aewaz Ali is among hundreds of farmers in Afghanistan’s Bamyan province who continues to reap the benefit of a rehabilitated irrigation canal and improve his farming. Upgrades under the Irrigation Restoration Development Project which addressed flooding and water shortage in the main canals, have resulted in better water management. The canal that was rehabilitated by the Afghanistan Reconstruction Trust Fund (ARTF) and IDA has improved the living conditions of over 600 households in the area.
