Nvidia: One thing this strategist thinks could threaten growth

Artificial intelligence has emerged as a transformative technology, with tech giants increasingly investing in its development. Semiconductor companies like Nvidia (NVDA) are some of the biggest beneficiaries. Futurum Chief Market Strategist Cory Johnson joins Market Domination Overtime to share his insights on Nvidia's prospects ahead of its upcoming earnings report.
Regarding Nvidia's sustained growth trajectory, Johnson states, "we've never seen anything like this." He highlights the company's ability to continuously innovate, introduce new products, and sell everything it manufactures, solidifying its position as a powerhouse in the rapidly evolving AI landscape. Johnson also notes that Nvidia has substantial pricing power, contributing significantly to its margin growth. However, he points out one concern: tech giants themselves are actively pursuing projects to replicate Nvidia's chips in-house.

"When all your customers are trying to invent a competitor to the product that you are selling them, you might wanna worry about that," Johnson tells Yahoo Finance.
