#insurtech and #iot: 5 trends at connected #insurance conference

At the connected insurance conference in the beautiful city of Amsterdam professionals of the insurance and iot industry met and talked about the future of insurance, iot, reinsurance and insurtech.

Even though the breakthrough of connected devices - such as #Amazon #Alexa and #Google home - in our daily lives has not happened yet (except certain demographics and regions) it was obvious that a lot of insurer, reinsurer, insurtech, service providers and financial institutions are preparing for the massive penetration of #iot devices.

I had the feeling all present at the conference analyzed different digital trends and came to the conclusion that the internet of things and massive connectivity is a trend that will effect the insurance and finance industry massively. What do you think?
