4K Walking Tour of Cadiz, Spain, City Center Walk in April 2022
Welcome to today’s walking tour of Cadiz, Spain. In this 4k video, we take a stroll through the beautiful city center of Cadiz capital, Cadiz, Spain.
Cádiz is basically an island city on the west coast of Spain. A beautiful medieval fortress that is surrounded on all sides by the Atlantic Ocean.
It stands tall, proud and full of grace. It is modern and old at the same time. With its clean shiny streets and ancient stone quarters, it charms its visitors every day with plenty of great things to do and see.
We start our walk in Cadiz in the Plaza de San Juan de Dios. This beautiful, grand square was built in the 16th century and has been for a long period of time the heart of the city.
Two buildings stand out in this square: the town hall and the church of San Juan De Dios.
On our walk, we reach Plaza de la Cathedral, where we can see the beautiful Cathedral of Cadiz. Built over the span of a century, it has a mixture of several architectural styles, such as Baroque and Neoclassical. The square is also full of restaurants and bars, where you can enjoy lunch or have a nice drink while admiring this amazing building.
After walking through the narrow streets of the old town, we arrive back in the plaza de San Juan de Dios, and from there, we end up on Avenida del Puerto, in a small but beautiful park, where we end our walk tour.
