Employed in a jeweler, Marcel meets during two picturesque characters: Jo and Loulou. Marcel, though engaged to Renée, his boss's daughter, falls in love with Loulou. He does not know that the latter and Jo are crooks. Loulou is looking for money to escape P'tit Louis, "her man" and sees in Marcel the perfect pigeon. Too naive, he almost becomes an accomplice to the robbery of the jewelry store. Finally, seized with scruples in front of Marcel's naivety, they confess the truth to him. He will give up the spicy Loulou and end up marrying the nice Renée...
