The Mädlerpassage is a covered retail, restaurant and service complex located in downtown Leipzig (Grimmaische Strasse/Neumarkt) and at the same time one of the few fully preserved and most magnificent shopping arcades in the trade fair city.
The Old Town Hall in Leipzig or Altes Rathaus dominates the east side of the market square in the trade fair city - is considered one of the most important German secular buildings of the Renaissance . At its back is the Naschmarkt. The mayor and city administration have been housed in the new town hall since 1905.
