Katale Khor Cave - غار کتله خور
Katale Khor Cave is one of the most beautiful limestone caves in the world and is one of the most unique caves in the world in terms of age, size, number of floors and variety in the formation of chandeliers. This cave was discovered before 1300 and was registered 30 years later by Seyyed Assadollah Jamali. The most important and extensive visit to Katlekhor, which made it more famous, dates back to 1986, when a team of skilled cavers explored the cave and discovered many neglects.

Of course, this cave still has many undiscovered routes and no end has been found for it. So far, about 30 km of Katlekhor Cave have been identified and mapped, 22 km of this area, but only a 1,200-meter route, on the first floor of the cave to visit

The formation of Katlekhor Cave dates back to the third geological period and about 30 million years ago. Groundwater has infiltrated the limestone rocks of Saqizloo Mountain and gently washed away the limestone inside the rocks and cliffs, creating cavities, and a massive cave has emerged in its present form.
Although the cave is now mostly earthen; But in the early stages of its formation, it was a blue cave. The formation of several floors of this cave has caused water to penetrate to the lower floors and turn into a dry cave. There is still a river in some parts of the cave, which is the result of the flowing waters that form the cave.

غار کتله خور یکی از زیباترین غارهای آهکی جهان است و از نظر قدمت، وسعت، تعداد طبقات و تنوع در تشكیل قندیل‌ها، از غارهای منحصربه‌فرد دنیا محسوب می‌شود. غار کتله خور قبل از سال ۱۳۰۰ کشف و ۳۰ سال بعد توسط سید اسدالله جمالی به ثبت رسید. مهم‌ترین و گسترده‌ترین بازدید از غار کتله خور که باعث شد بیشتر شناخته شود، به سال ۱۳۶۵ برمی‌گردد که تیمی متشکل از غارنوردان زبده، غار کتله خور را کنکاش و نادیده‌های بسیاری را کشف کردند.

البته هنوز غار کتله خور مسیر‌های کشف نشده بسیاری دارد و انتهایی برای آن یافت نشده است. تا كنون حدود ۳۰ كیلومتر از غار كتله خور شناسایی و نقشه‌برداری ۲۲ كیلومتر از این محدوده انجام شده، ولی فقط یک مسیر ۱,۲۰۰ متری، آن هم در طبقه اول غار برای بازدید
گردشگران مهیا شده است
زمان شکل‌گیری غار کتله خور به دوران سوم زمین‌شناسی و حدود ۳۰ میلیون سال پیش بر می‌گردد. آب‌های زیرزمینی در سنگ‌های آهکی کوه ساقیزلو نفوذ کرده‌اند و به‌آرامی، آهک‌های درون سنگ‌ها و صخره‌ها را شسته‌اند و حفره‌هایی ایجاد کرده‌اند و غار کتله خور با شکل امروزی آن پدید آمده است.
اگرچه غار در حال حاضر بیشتر شکلی خاکی دارد؛ اما در مراحل اولیه تشکیل خود غاری آبی بوده است. تشکیل طبقات متعدد این غار باعث شده است که آب به طبقات زیرین نفوذ کند و کتله خور به غاری خشک تبدیل شود. هنوز در بخش‌هایی از غار، رودی جریان دارد که حاصل جریان آب‌های فرورو و شکل‌دهنده غار است.
