The Dixell Controller is used in all PEAK COLD Refrigeration sold only by Iron Mountain Refrigeration and Equipment including Upright Display Coolers, Back Bar Coolers, Commercial Refrigerators and Freezers, Island Freezers, Refrigerated Prep Tables, Deli Cases and Cake Display Cases.
This video demonstrates how to access the parameter menu and program the Dixell Temperature Controller and can be used for the Dixell XR02CX, XR03CX, and XR06CX Controllers used in Iron Mountain Refrigeration & Equipment PEAK COLD Equipment. The temperature settings for the XR06CX when installed in a Commercial Freezer will need to be adjusted to more suitable numbers. Commonly we set Commercial Freezers with a temperature range of -5° to 1°
This video will explain how to adjust the temperature and defrost settings on your Dixell Controller.
Steps:
1. Press and hold the SET button until the °F is flashing. Release.
2. Adjust the set temperature to desired low temperature. Press SET.
3. Press and hold the SET and DOWN ARROW until the controller displays HY. Release.
4. Press set once and adjust parameter to 6.
5. Press set, it’ll flash and go to LS. Press SET.
6. Adjust this lower setpoint to match your set temperature.
7. Press SET, it’ll flash and go to US.
8. Press set and adjust the upper set point to 6 degrees above your lower set point.
9. Press SET, it’ll flash and go to ot.
10. Press SET. This should be 0.
11. Press SET, it’ll go to OD.
12. Press SET and adjust to 1.
13. Press SET, it’ll flash and go to CF.
14. Press SET and this should be °F.
15. Press set and it’ll go to ID.
16. Press SET and adjust to 6.
17. Press set, it’ll flash and go to Nd.
18. Press SET and adjust to 30.
19. Press set, it’ll flash and go back to HY.
You have completed your settings. The controller will back out of the parameter menu on its own.
