همایش پیاده روی روستای برغمد همه ساله در ایام عید برگزار می شود که این همایش با حضور پرشور
مردم روستا و شهر های اطراف برگزار می شود.همایش پیاده روی خانوادگی روستای برغمد همه ساله هشتم فروردین ساعت ۷ صبح برگزار می شود شروع این مسابقات از رو به روی صندوق قرض الحسنه بنی هاشم رضوی شروع و به یکی از قنات های روستای برغمد منتهی می شد. هر ساله بیش از ۲۰۰۰ نفر از اهالی برغمد و روستاهای اطراف برغمد مانند: جمال آباد ، میان آباد ، شمس آباد و بید در بین جمعیت حضور دارند. هر ساله بلیط های قرعه کشی بین جمعیت پخش می شد.
در مسیر پیاده روی مکانی وجود دارد که بلیط های قرعه کشی را بین شرکت کنندگان پخش می کند تا شرکت کنندگان در آخر مراسم قرعه کشی شرکت داده شوند و از جوایز نفیسی که از طرف مجموعه موسسات بنی هاشم برغمد اهداء می شوند بهره مند شوند.
آیین اسب چوبی هنوزم در مناطق سبزوار از جمله مراسم جشن و سرور ، عروسی ها ،
ایام عید نوروز و همچنین در یکی از بزرگترین نمایش های آیینی ، میدانی با عنوان
( غم بارا شادی بیا ) در آخرین چهارشنبه سوری های سال در برخی روستاها از جمله روستای طبس اجرا می شود.
آیین اس چوبی تاکنون توسط هنرمندان شهرستان سبزوار در جشنواره بازی های بومی محلی منطقه ای و کشوری ،
جشنواره فیلم فجر و حتی در کشورهای آلمان و روسیه به اجرا در آمده است که افتخاری برای این شهرستان است.
در ادامه جشنواره بازی های بومی محلی روستای برغمد سال ۹۴ می پردازیم که گروه سربداران اسب چوبی
همراه با چوب بازی دو نفر و اسب چوبی می کردند در اصل این رقص نیست نشانه جنگ اهالی سبزوار و مغول ها می باشد
که مردمان چوب به دست اهالی سربدار بوده و آن هایی که سوار به اسب مغول ها بودند.
سپس یکی از افراد گروه سربداران چند آیه از کلام الله مجید را قرائت کردند سپس در این میدان گروه سربداران کار خود را شروع کرده
