Shaykh Bahauddin Adil INTERVIEW: What Mawlana Sheikh Nazim said about the Ottoman Empire & Monarchy
Bismillahir'Rahmanir'Raheem today it is an immense honour to bring this incredible interview to you with Shaykh Bahauddin Adil, the beloved son of Sultan-al-Awlia Mawlana Sheikh Nazim Adil Haqqani and the brother of my beloved Shaykh and Spiritual Guide Mawlana Shaykh Mehmet Adil - the 41st Shaykh of the Naqshbandi Tariqa. Shaykh Bahauddin Adil resides in Lekfe, Northern Cyprus, at the Sheikh Nazim dergah, and I was very fortunate to conduct this interview at the Sheikh Nazim Sufi Centre in London, UK.
In this in depth interview, Shaykh Bahauddin answers questions focussing on the importance of the Ottoman Empire in Islam, the importance of Monarchy over democracy and shares with us some incredible gems about what our beloved Mawlana Shaykh Nazim would say about the Ottoman Empire. He also speaks about the role of the Royal Ottoman Society and Ayberk Effendi.
Shaykh Bahauddin also speaks about the role of Sufism in the Ottoman Empire and how each of the Ottoman Sultans had a Sufi Shaykh, or Murshid (a guide).
