In today’s Milestone mastery video, we will focus on "the most important gross motor skills activities for babies 3-6-month-old"
At the end of this short video, you will be able to download a list of the most important milestones your baby needs to go over, in the first 24 months after birth.
Let us begin:
Your baby's objective:
Your baby should Lift his head and chest while supported by his elbows and forearms.
Your objective as the parent:
Check your baby's ability to lift his head and chest, and also his ability to lean on his elbows and forearms when lying on his tummy.
Testing for Milestone Mastery.
Lay your baby on his tummy on a level surface.
Encourage your baby to lift his head and chest through stimulation, without touching his back or bottom. Your baby should be able to lift his head and chest with the support of his forearms.
Use a toy to encourage your baby to reach for an object, or to glance at one.
If your baby passed this milestone, Well done!
You can now check it off the list and continue to the next video.
