CBS News reporter Weijia Jiang asked President Trump why he cared about the United States being a leader in COVID-19 testing when Americans are still dying every day from the virus.
President Trump said, "Well, they're losing their lives everywhere in the world, and maybe that's a question you should ask China.
Don't ask me, ask China that question, OK?" When Jiang attempted to follow up and ask why he was telling her to ask China, the president said it was because her question was "nasty."
The president ended the press conference not long after. The exchange took place on Monday during a press conference in the Rose Garden.
