کاخ آپادانای شوش
این کاخ در شهر باستانی شوش و در محوطه قلعه شوش قرار دارد. شوش واقع در استان خوزستان یکی از قدیمی ترین سکونتگاه های شناخته شده جهان است، نخستین آثار یک دهکده مسکونی در آن مربوط به ۷۰۰۰ سال پیش از میلاد هستند. طبق اسناد باستانی شوش از مهمترین و باشکوه ترین شهرهای باستانی ایران و جهان بوده است و فعالیت های باستانشناسی در آن هنوز ادامه دارد. آپادانا نام یک قلعه نیست، بلکه نام باستانی بناهایی است که با تالارهای ستون دار شناخته می شدند. بهترین نمونه های آپاداناها را در تخت جمشید و کاخ شوش می توانید ببینید.کاخ آپادانا در شوش که بدون شک از دیدنیهای استان خوزستان است به دستور داریوش بزرگ پادشاه هخامنشی در حدود سال های ۵۱۵_۵۲۱ پیش از میلاد روی آثار و بقایای عیلامی بنا نهاده شد. این کاخ قصر زمستانی شاهان هخامنشی بوده است.کاخ آپادانا شوش با مساحت ۱۰۴۳۴ متر از واحدهای مختلفی مانند تالار بار عام، حرم سرا، دروازه و کاخ پذیرایی و همچنین سه حیاط مرکزی تشکیل شده است. دیوارهای داخلی کاخ با آجر لعابدار منقوش با طرح های سپاه جاویدان، شیر بالدار و نقش گل نیلوفر آبی مزین بوده اند که بقایای به جای مانده آنها در موزه های خارجی و داخلی نگهداری می شوند. این کاخ در حفاری‌های بین سال‌های ۱۳۱۱ تا ۱۳۱۴ از زیر خاک بیرون آوره‌شد و پس از ۷۰ سال در سال ۱۳۸۰ در فهرست آثار ملی ایران به شمارهٔ ۳۹۸۱ به ثبت رسید. در سال 2015 نیز به ثبت جهانی رسید.
Apadana Palace of Susa
This palace is located in the ancient city of Susa and in the area of Susa Castle. Shush, located in Khuzestan province, is one of the oldest known settlements in the world, the first traces of a residential village in it date back to 7000 BC. According to ancient documents, Susa was one of the most important and glorious ancient cities of Iran and the world, and archeological activities are still going on there. Apadana is not the name of a castle, but the ancient name of a building known for its columned halls. You can see the best examples of Apadana in Persepolis and Susa Palace. Apadana Palace in Susa, which is undoubtedly one of the sights of Khuzestan province, was built by order of Darius the Great, the Achaemenid king, around 515-521 BC on Elamite monuments and remains. This palace was the winter palace of the Achaemenid kings. Apadana Palace of Susa with an area of 10434 meters consists of various units such as public bar hall, shrine, gate and reception palace as well as three central courtyards. The inner walls of the palace are decorated with glazed bricks painted with designs of the Eternal Corps, the winged lion and the lotus flower, the remains of which are kept in foreign and domestic museums. This palace was excavated during the excavations between 1311 and 1314, and after 70 years, in 1380, it was registered in the list of national monuments of Iran, numbered 3981. In 2015, it was registered worldwide.
