This modified strain of the coronavirus, GX_P2V, had a 100% mortality rate in the test rodents. The virus affected the lungs, bones, eyes, trachea, and brains of the rodents, turning their eyes completely white before death.
So far, scientists have been unable to determine how this virus might affect humans.
