بخوفي بضعفي بدمع انكساري
My Lord, I have returned with utter helplessness
With my fear, my weakness, my tears of my brokenness
رجعـتُ أبوء إليك بسرّي
وأنـت العليمُ بكل السِّرارِ
I have returned, baring my secret to you
And You are the Knower of all secrets
أحـثّ خطايَ فرارًا وخوفًا
ومنك ولكنْ إليـك فراري
I examine my sins fleeing and fearing
And From You, but to You is my flight
أنا من عثـرتُ مرارًا بدربي
ومَن لي سواك يُقيلُ عِثاري
I am the one who stumbled repeatedly on my journey,
And who have I, but You, to relieve my stumbles
ومَن لي سـواك ليغفرَ ذنبي
ويقبلَ يارب مني اعتذاري
And who have I, but You, to forgive my sins
And to accept, O Lord, from me, my apology
ومَن لي سـواك يُفـرّجُ كربي
ويشفي فؤادي ويُطفىءُ ناري
And who have I, but You, to alleviate my distress
And heal my heart, and extinguish my fire
ومَن لي سـواك يُقـوّمُ دربي
يُسدّد خلف الرسول مَساري
And who have I, but You, to straighten my path
Directing me after the Messenger on my journey
فأنت الرحيـمُُ ، وأنت الكريمُُ
وحُكمك يارب في الكون جارِ
For You are the Most Merciful, and You are the Most Generous
And Your decree, O Lord, is enacted across the universe
أخافك ربـي ، وأرجوك ربي
أحبك ربـي وهذا شعاري
I fear You, my Lord, and beseech You, my Lord
I love You, my Lord, and this is my motto
