This video is an introduction to the Wilcoxon Signed-Rank test, including a description of how it is used, its elements, and the assumptions data must meet to be analyzed by the test. The Wilcoxon Signed-Rank test is a nonparametric alternative to the dependent-samples t test (paired-samples t test). The assumptions of the Wilcoxon Signed-Rank test, including the assumption of symmetrical distribution, are reviewed.
