Armenian Gata recipe/ How to make Armenian sweet pastry Gata (Nazook)

For this recipe you’ll need
3.5 cups all purpose flour
3/4 cup cold butter
1 egg
1 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp baking soda
1/2 tsp yeast
1/4 tsp salt
1/2 cup yogurt
1/2 cup sour cream
1/4 cup milk
1 tsp honey or 1/2 tsp vanilla
For the filling khoorez
1/2 cup flour
1/2 cup sugar
2 Tbsp butter
Second filling
1/3 cup almonds flour
1/3 cup sugar
1/3 cup crushed walnuts
2 tbsp butter
For the egg wash
1 egg yolks
1/2 tsp vanilla extract
use egg whites to brush inside the roll
