Mashhad Iran (4k) Imam Reza Bazaar in Mashhad

Reza Bazaar in Mashhad during the second Pahlavi era of Mohammad Reza Shah and in 1976 was designed by the famous architect Dariush Borbor, and under his supervision, it was built within eleven months as a ferris major. Due to the large number of tourists and pilgrims in Mashhad, trade in this city has flourished in the past. Among the commercial centers of the city are Reza Bazaar. This market is one of the most important shopping malls for pilgrims and tourists.

Reza Bazaar complex is located near the Razavi Places complex, on the eastern side of Imam Reza Street, and with its traditional structure and numerous shops, it is a place for buying, selling and trading pilgrims, travelers and neighbors (residents of Mashhad). The bazaar is built in two floors, on the second floor there are small workshops of handicrafts, gilding, ring making, turquoise and embroidery.

This market has retained its traditional texture despite almost forty years since the 1979 Revolution.
At the same time as the destruction around the Square of the Holy Shrine of Razavi (1975 or 1975), the construction of Reza Bazaar began and ended in the early 1970s. A number of the chambers of Reza Bazaar were handed over to shopkeepers who had been included in the development plan.

Reza Bazaar is a short distance in the southeast of the holy places and from the eastern side of Beit al-Maqdis Square (Water Square) to 17 Shahrivar Square and has two two-story buildings with two parallel roofed corridors and 17 chaharsouq and 11 heads, which are constructed between two streets with a width of 30 meters and a length of 800 meters and have about 72,000 meters of infrastructure. 43,000 meters of this infrastructure is located in Reza Bazaar and 29,000 meters in side houses and has a total of 2,096 shops and chambers in different area. There are 1,008 shops in Reza's market and 1,084 in 11 houses that are connected from the inside.

Reza Bazaar has two main entrances and exits in Jerusalem Square (Water Square) and 17 Shahrivar Square. The length of the bazaar in two corridors and two floors is about 3 kilometers in total and the length of each market is 750 meters.

Reza Market, which is the largest shopping mall for travelers and pilgrims, has a variety of goods and souvenirs, such as opal rings, turquoise, gold and silver, as well as a variety of perfumes, saffron, candy, skins, stamps and sajada and rosaries, clothing, badges, etc. sold out.

Due to its proximity to the Shrine of Razavi, Reza Bazaar is one of the landmarks of Mashhad and is considered by the people of Mashhad and pilgrims and travelers.

I hope you enjoy it😊
