Why do Muslims prostrate to the Kaaba, which is an idol? 🤔 The same question was asked to both Muhammad Shahrour and Othman Al-Khamis | How do you judge?
The same question was asked to both Dr. Muhammad Shahrour and Sheikh Othman Al-Khamis.|Since the Islamic religion forbids the worship of idols, why then do Muslims prostrate to the Kaaba, which is a stone like idols?

Othman Al-Khamis Brief:
Sheikh Othman bin Muhammad bin Hamad bin Abdullah bin Saleh bin Muhammad Al-Khamis Al-Nasseri Al-Tamimi, in short Othman Al-Khamis, was born on January 16, 1956, in a neighborhood of the State of Kuwait.
He belongs to the Al-Nawasir tribe, from the descendants of Al-Muswar, the last prince of the Bani Tamim tribe. He received his early education in the schools of the State of Kuwait, and then moved on to study at Imam Muhammad bin Saud Islamic University in Riyadh. A recent critical study.
As for his personal life, he got married in 1987 AD, and God blessed him with four children, Fatima, Muhammad, Abdul Rahman, and Saleh.

Muhammad Shahrour (April 11, 1938 - December 21, 2019); A Syrian engineer, researcher and thinker, a professor of civil engineering at the University of Damascus, an author and a theoretician of what has been called the “contemporary reading of the Qur’an.” Shahrour began his writings on the Qur’an and Islam after his return from Moscow, and some accused him of embracing Marxist thought because of his youth in the Soviet Union. In the year 1990 he published the book “The Book and the Qur’an” in which he tried to apply some new linguistic methods in an attempt to find a new interpretation of the Qur’an. Muhammad Shahrour has gained many supporters and opponents of his ideas in many countries.
