It all started in the summer of 2019 when Ms. B. became pregnant with her desired child at the age of 30. From the 16th week of pregnancy, "a fog" covered her eyes, her visual field was totally restricted, and she could see through this grey veil worse and worse. After eight times MRI, the ophthalmologist found out that there is something behind the eyes, which squeezes the optic nerve: the eyes were healthy, but the optic nerve is damaged. Neither her gynecologist nor ophthalmologist could explain the cause of her vision loss. In order to treat the optic nerve damage, Ms. B. visited the SAVIR Center, located near the University Hospital of Magdeburg.
