San Diego Wave faced off against expansion team Bay FC for the first time in a 2-1 victory. Makenzy Doniak started the scoring with a goal in the 13th minute. Bay FC's Asisat Oshoala scored in the second half, but Jaedyn Shaw found the game winner to take home the three points for the Wave.
