Sassanian Persian Empire (امپراتوری ساسانی Sassanid Empire) - Shapur I

In this second episode of the Sassanian Persian Empire series we take a look at the reign of Shapur I. He would famously capture the Roman emperor Valerian at the Battle of Edessa. He would also build on the foundation laid out by his father Ardashir I. Shapur would reign for 28 years between the years 242 and 270.
