Sharm El Sheikh, where is located?
Sharm El Sheikh is an Egyptian tourist city, located at the confluence of the Gulfs of Aqaba and Suez on the Red Sea coast. It covers an area of 480 km, has a population of 35,000, and is the largest city in the South Sinai Governorate. The city includes tourist resorts frequented by visitors from all over the world, and is famous for being one of the international diving centers that attracts amateurs and professionals of this sport. It also includes an international airport, and in front of its coast are the islands of Tiran and Sanafir, and its most important areas are Ras Nasrani, Ras Umm Sid, Ras Jamila Ras Church, Sharm el-Mayh, Nakhlat al-Tabal, next to the Ras Muhammad Protectorate located to the south, the Nabq Protectorate between it and Dahab, and Naama Bay at the confluence of the continents of Asia and Africa. It contains more than 200 hotels and resorts, other than restaurants, cafes, commercial markets, entertainment cities, nightclubs and casinos.
