Hello, my dear friends, today we went to Isfahan Museum of Anthropology in Vank Church of Isfahan
About 100 years ago, thanks to the efforts of a person named Thaddeus Hunanian, the Museum of Vank Church was opened in the northern part of the church. This museum is considered one of the most important Armenian museums and contains exquisite works.n this museum, you can see outstanding historical paintings, exquisite manuscript books, as well as old works that are hundreds of years old.
Many tourists visit this museum every year. In addition to artistic and historical works, in this museum you can learn about the history of Armenian presence in Iran
On the north side of Vank Church and next to its historical museum, there is a large and valuable library. This library was established in 1884 by a person named Hohannes Sornian. He was the caliph of Isfahan. The purpose of establishing this library can be considered to preserve the valuable works of Armenians. Some of these works are manuscripts that Armenians brought with them when they immigrated to Iran. Gradually, with the passage of time, the works and documents of this library were completed
This library houses historical documents that are more than 400 years old.
