Samsung Galaxy A72 (revisited): BETTER FOR SURE!
Samsung Galaxy A72 in 2022! Samsung Galaxy A72 vs A53!
We've been testing this phome ever since it was released and this is the first this we will fully review this. Is it still worth it? This is Samsung A72 after one year.
Now that Samsung Galaxy A53 is out we're seeing the trajectory of the newer A series. Using Exynos processor and even worse removing the headphone jack. I think this is where the 2021 models will stand out, running on Snapdragon chipset with headphone jack and same design. I will give you my own experience using this phone and, reasons why you need to own this and what makes it better compared to A53.
Lets start with my experience using this phone. At one point I'm using this phone probably for the last 3-4 months and this is pretty stable phone. Unlike other chinese phones I've used from the past, One UI 3.1 was super stable, maybe some hiccups here and there when opening apps, I think a couple of apps freezing and had to restart my phone one time but thats about it.
Everything was fast, and this is one reliable phone to use anywhere anytime. Also, just few days ago, I got an update to One UI 4.1. Prior to this update over the last 2 months I was using this on One UI 4 which is Android 12. Never had any issues with performance and I got all the Android 12 goodness like any supported Samsung phones do.
What I love about this phone is the BIG 6.7 inch AMOLED screen and pretty smooth too. It was fun to watch Netflix and Youtube video in an almost 7 inch screen. The cameras are pretty decent. I wont bore you wirh the specs but the image part is pretty solid but the video recording is just okay.
The photos has grrat details and punchy colors but the video recording is a little shaky. It shoot 4k recording but the footage isnt the best in active situation. The battery of this phone is 5000 mAh and pretty solid 2 day phone for me. I will play 1-2 h9urs of game and it will burn anywhere from 10 to 25%. Even with 90 hertz screen, the battery juice is pretty good. This is one good and solid midrange phone!
