Tehran /Laleh Park (پارک لاله)- 2021
Laleh Park, which was called Farah Park before the 1978 Iranian Revolution, is one of the largest parks in Tehran. This park was founded in 1966 at the request of Farah Pahlavi from Mohammad Reza Pahlavi. Before that, it was a military area used by the army for horseback riding and parades and was called Jalalieh Garden. The area of the park is 35 hectares. There are different plant species in this park, the most important of which are: sycamore, acacia, and pine. Laleh Park is one of the beautiful, old, and memorable parks in Tehran, which is located in the geographical area of District 6 of the capital.
This park is located in District 6 of Tehran Municipality and in the Amirabad neighborhood.
The park is bounded on the north by Fatemi Street, on the south by Keshavarz Boulevard, on the west by North Kargar Street (Amirabad Street), and on the east by Hijab Street. In the neighborhood of this park, there is Laleh Shopping Center, Museum of Contemporary Art, Iranian Carpet Museum, and Laleh Hotel or "Intercontinental Hotel" (formerly).
The southeastern part of the park is designed in the style of Japanese parks and has a fountain and spiral streams. Chess and ping pong tables are located in the northern streets of the park and are very crowded. The park's sports facilities, including basketball and volleyball courts, are also located in the northern part. The park also has a puppet theater center, a library under the auspices of the Center for the Intellectual Development of Children and Adolescents, and a mosque. There are various sculptures and statues in this park, the most famous of which are the statue of Khayyam and the statue of Abu Rihan al-Biruni.
The statue of Khayyam is one of the works of Abolhassan Sedighi, which was made in 1972 in Italy (commissioned by the National Works Association). After moving to Iran, this statue was moved to this park and was visited by the public, after which it was restored several times by Fereydoun Sedighi (son of the creator of the work).
پارک لاله که تا پیش از انقلاب ۱۳۵۷ ایران، پارک فرح نام داشت، از بوستان‌های بزرگ شهر تهران است. این پارک در سال ۱۳۴۵ به در خواست فرح پهلوی از محمدرضا پهلوی بنیان شد. پیش از آن یک منطقه نظامی بود که برای سوارکاری و رژه مورد استفاده ارتش قرار داشت و باغ جلالیه نامیده می‌شد. مساحت بوستان ۳۵ هکتار است. در این پارک گونه‌های متفاوت گیاهی موجود است که مهم‌ترین آن‌ها عبارتند از: چنار، اقاقیا و کاج. پارک لاله یکی از پارک‌های زیبا، قدیمی و خاطره انگیز تهران است که در محدوده جغرافیایی منطقه ۶ شهرداری پایتخت واقع شده‌است.
این بوستان در محدوده منطقه ۶ شهرداری تهران و در محله امیرآباد واقع شده‌است.
این بوستان از شمال به خیابان فاطمی، از جنوب به بلوار کشاورز، از غرب به خیابان کارگر شمالی (خیابان امیرآباد) و از شرق به خیابان حجاب محدود می‌شود. در همسایگی این بوستان، مرکز خرید لاله، موزه هنرهای معاصر، موزه فرش ایران و هتل لاله یا " هتل اینترکنتیننتال " (سابق) واقع شده‌است.
بخش جنوب شرقی این پارک به شیوه پارک‌های ژاپنی طراحی شده و دارای آب‌نما و جویبارهای مارپیچ است. در خیابان‌های شمالی پارک محوطه میزهای شطرنج و پينگ پونگ جای داده شده‌است و به شدت پديده خيز است. زمین‌های ورزشی پارک شامل زمین‌های بسکتبال و والیبال نیز در بخش شمالی جای گرفته‌است. در این پارک همچنین یک مرکز تئاتر عروسکی، یک کتابخانه زیر پوشش کانون پرورش فکری کودکان و نوجوانان و یک مسجد دایر می‌باشد. مجسمه‌ها و تندیس‌های گوناگونی نیز در این پارک وجود دارد که نامدارترین آن‌ها تندیس خیام و تندیس ابوریحان بیرونی است.
تندیس خیام از آثار ابوالحسن صدیقی است که در سال ۱۳۵۱ و در کشور ایتالیا (به سفارش انجمن آثار ملی) ساخته شده‌است. این تندیس پس از جابجایی به ایران به این پارک منتقل شد و در بازدید همگانی قرار گرفت و پس از آن چندین بار به دستان فریدون صدیقی (فرزند آفریننده اثر) بازسازی شد.
